Personality
Victor used to be a very outgoing, friendly guy who would always gladly make new friends and try to be nice to anyone. He was considered the joker, and a very athletic guy. He was always with his best pals, and always going out to pull pranks, go on adventures, and just have fun. Though something changed that night and after his recovery. He started holding himself back from everyone, even his best pals. Victor became some what...shy. He was scared what would happen if someone found out about what happened, and his more flirtatious, funky, crazy side got covered up. Now he's like a different guy...
If someone could get under this new layer that he put up to keep himself and other safe, they'd get his playfully, loving, caring, crazy side to come out again. He's a very loyal person, tending to be rather protective over friends and family.

Background
Born to a troubled couple, Victor was only two when his father killed a man in cold blood. After he got arrested, his mother found it hard to provide for her son, and started looking for alternate options so her son could have a better life. It wasn't long before she stumbled over a news article about a barren fashion designer. The woman said she'd do anything for a child, and she so desperately wanted a child to call her own. As much as it hurt, his mother contacted the woman, telling her of her predicament and how she wanted her baby boy to have a better life. Not even a month later, legal documents had been signed, transferred, and court dates set. Victor was on his way to a better life.
His new mother and father were glad the boy's birth mother chose them to take in her son. Even relieved that the boy did resemble them in some way. Right away, they took to their son. Though Victor was confused for a few months, not understanding these were his new parents. By the time he turned four, he had forgotten about his real mother and father. And these two people were his new parents.
Since the man and woman who took Victor in were rich, the boy received an excellent education, lessons on different musical instruments, and many other things that were just handed to him. It was a nice life, and he was on the path to following his father and becoming an engineer and taking over the family business. That was, until he went on a camping trip with his best pals. That night changed his life forever, and if it was for the worst or better, he has no clue.
It was a normal star filled night, and the four teenage guys were ready to have some fun out in the wild. The had a huge bonfire set up, their tents pitched, the trucks and jeeps parked under the shelter of the trees. It was the perfect night. And to top it off, it was Victor's 19th birthday! They planned on staying up all night with scary stories, a few cases of beer, and tons of smores supplies. It was smiles all around until the scary stories started. Then the one with a rabbit leading to a haunted cave got them all spooked... because a rabbit jumped into the clearing and started motioning for them to follow it.
They all swore they had to be drunk off their assess to be seeing this... But being young and adventurous, they stupidly followed. It seemed to be taking forever, following this rabbit through the pitch black trees into nothing. They should have brought their flashlights was what they all were thinking. The trees were silent, which added to the haunting atmosphere that they already created for themselves with the scary stories. Eventually the rabbit disappeared into a large cave, and the boys mumbled about how they should go back, but Victor was determined to see what was down there.
Sliding into the cave, he kept a hand against the wall, feeling the slime of moss and wet stone slide under his fingers. After a while of walking into darkness, he was able to see light, which perplexed Victor into going further into the cave to see what was there. It was getting cooler and cooler as he went, which he had slightly expected since the cave walls were dripping cold, wet slime that oozed over his fingers. As he got closer, he noticed how the light was starting to get the faint taint of red, and lighten up the cave a little. Though it wasn't bright enough to see clearly, he could now tell his other shoulder was almost touching the other wall of the cave that his hand wasn't against.
He hadn't noticed it was shrinking in around him. But what haunted him was the fact that when the light lit up the cave more, and he looked to the walls, it wasn't green slime like he suspected. It was cold, oozing blood that seemed to be sleeping from the cracks of the walls. But he couldn't stop now... It was too late to turn around. Keeping his hands away from the walls, he cringed in disgust to what the blood could be coming from, and why it was so cold instead of warm. That's when it happened.
There was a huge flash of lightning, an ear piercing screech, the floor falling from under him, and a sharp pain in his head. Victor woke up to find himself in a cove, where dead bodies of other teenagers were skewered against the stone, seemingly endless pools of blood flowing from them. Panicked, he had pushed himself up with a small cry, only to shout for mercy at the sight of four hermits running at him. He had no idea what he had just gotten himself into...
The largest hermit grabbed him by the shirt, demanding who he was. Once Victor told him, he got thrown to the ground and the oldest one came towards him, muttering in some strange language he couldn't understand. Victor tried scrambling away, but the larger one jumped at him again and held him still as the old woman smeared her grimy hand over his face. She said something else, and the others seemed to back down instantly, the largest one surprisingly gently lifting him to his feet. "Chosen one," they all murmured over and over, like some morbid chant.
He claimed he didn't know what they were talking about, but the oldest one came forward in front of him again. "The chosen one has come to fulfill his destiny! Bring the Stone of Erulah!" The hermit woman screamed. Before he knew it, he was pushed to the ground, and the largest one was over him again, chanting nonsense while holding a spear like stone above his head. It had veins on it like lava, making Victors eyes widen as he pleaded for them to let him go. More and more chanting filled the cove as Victor tried to break free. But then he felt it...
This seering pain burned through his chest, and he could scream anymore. He couldn't breath. His veins felt like they were on fire. And when he looked down, the stone had been stabbed right into his heart, blood trickling around the wound. Before he blacked out, he could've sworn he saw what looked like lava in the veins on the rock slowly lowering towards his body as if injecting him with something.
When he woke up next, he could hear the steady beep of a heart monitor, and the soft sobs of a woman. He pulled his eyes open to look, and sure enough, his mother was crying at his bedside in the hospital.
After recovery, one that baffled the doctors because his heart had been split open yet he never stopped breathing, Victor started to research this "Stone of Erulah". Only to find it was an ancient myth. One with a story that said five great magic benders came together before they were killed the next day, and put their power into this Stone. It was said a chosen one would come to claim his immorality and power, but when was unknown. People even today were looking for the Stone. There were people who believed in it so much, they dedicated their lives to trying to find it. And Victor just did. He got it stabbed through his chest, where a sure scar was going to be left, and that power now burned through his veins to be wielding and used. Now all he had to do was figure out how to use it.
