This is the exact kind of vampire you do not want to run into. These beasts are not like traditional vampires, and can only be killed by being brought back from the dead, and having their head severed. Though they are rare, the Helvic Vampire can never seem to be killed off. The hellish creatures can easily blend into a human crowd if they can control their thirst for human blood.
A typical Helvic colt (a newly turned vampire) will still have their heart beat for at least three years after their transformation while the vampire venom replaces all humanly fluids to cause for immortality and an ageless demeanor. Colts tend to be very aggressive and violent due to the constant pain and hunger they're going through during the first year. They must drink a plethora of blood (both human or animal) to adjust to the new life as a vampire.
Physical Traits
Eyes. The eyes, when the vampire is full, are bright and sparkly, ranging from any color under the sun. When the vampire is hungry, black slowly takes over the whole eyeball.
Fangs. A Helvic has four fangs, which only come out when hungry or feeding. Colts tend to have smaller fangs, while the largest they grow to is a full inch. Venom can be injected through their fangs, and they can be used for feeding.
Tongue. Unlike other vampires, a Helvic has a forked tongue, which extends, at most, six inches from their mouth. The tongue, after the fangs have ripped open the neck, can slide into the neck of the victim and into the blood veins, redirecting all blood flow to the vampires mouth like a water fountain.
