Occupation: Students in the 2nd grade, foster children

Current Social Worker: Annie Green - appearance link - Calm but strict to the rules, caring. Been with the girls since their parents first died.

Mizu's Personality: Shy and distant, Mizu keeps her head down and tries not to disturb anyone. She's a sweet young girl, and is always looking after her twin sister.

Izumi's Personality: Izumi tries to be cheerful, and tries to get along with everyone. At first, she also comes off as shy and timid, but after she's settled in a new environment, she can be rather adventurous, and drags Mizu with her everywhere she goes.

Background: Mizu and Izumi had wonderful, loving parents. Sadly, tragedy struck when they were five, and their parents died in a car crash on a rainy night on their way home. For two years, they lived with their abusive uncle until Annie discovered the abuse and took them away immediately. And with no more family available to send them to, the twins were sent into foster care programs. Though refusing to be separated makes it very hard to find places for them to go.

    The two are bonded very close, and Annie would hate to have to split them up ever. They do much better together. When separated, the two get depressed, skittish, and upset. The twins are better kept together in order to help them both grow up and live with the deaths of their parents.
