- Is often found wandering around late at night, eating, or trying to go to class.
Asthma
- A condition in which a person's airways become inflamed, narrow and swell, and produce extra mucus, which makes it difficult to breathe.
Symptoms:

2. Respiratory: breathing through the mouth, difficulty breathing, fast breathing, frequent respiratory infections, rapid breathing, shortness of breath at night, or wheezing
3. Also common: acute episodes, anxiety, chest tightness, early awakening, fast heart rate, or throat irritation
Treatment:
- Asthma can usually be managed with rescue inhalers to treat symptoms (albuterol) and controller inhalers that prevent symptoms (steroids). Severe cases may require longer-acting inhalers that keep the airways open (formoterol, salmeterol, tiotropium), as well as oral steroids.

2. swelling of the lips, tongue or throat
3. hives (an itchy, blotchy and raised rash)
4. dizziness or faintness
5. nausea or vomiting
6. Can become anaphylactic if serious/left untreated
Treatment:
- Avoidance is most often the best medicine, but sometime shit happens. He always carries an EpiPen (Epinephrine injector) at all times. After it's used, it's best to go to the school hospital just to be sure. Nurses at the school always have medicine for him and other students on hand.
